The Emerald Star was perfect!! The playground was a super plus for our kids to wind down. The pool was warm despite the cool weather our son learned how to swim during our stay a memory of a life time. Pack and play, stroller, high chair, all were used, thank you for the little details. The Mickey TV in the kids room was a big hit for our cartoon crazy daughter. Location and directions for a short cut to the parks were awsome. The Emerald Star is our new prefered place to stay when we visit Disney.

The Emerald Star was every bit as great as advertised.
We just arrived back home from a truly wonderful Orlando vacation. The Emerald Star was every bit as great as advertised. We were all happy to be together under one roof instead of many hotel rooms. There was one problem I wanted to mention to you. One of the Air Hockey sliders went down in the hole and requires a key to open and get it out. We did not have a key to the game, so whoever has the key can retrieve it. Other than that everything was perfect and everyone at the club house were great too.

I'll keep it short: Great, roomy house (we had 3 families, 6 kids). Clean & comfy. Close to Disney, food, shopping, etc. Little play set practically on the lot. Co-owner Kathy is super-responsive (no problems... just little questions I had that she responded to personally and quickly). When we go back in few years, we will stay again. |

We took our family of 13 on a Disney Vacation for the first time. We stayed at the Emerald Star which was a perfect place for us. The place was beautiful and had room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool and game room everynight. It was close to the theme parks and was easy to get to restaurants and stores. It helped make our Disney vacation a dream come true.

We immensely enjoyed this spacious, elegant and well appointed home on our Orlando vacation. The home is in a great location with several local attractions and restaurants etc nearby. The home itself is elegant yet extremely comfortable. Our daughters loved the theme rooms and enjoyed that each room had its own TV. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay in this home again. A couple of minor things that would make this wonderful place even better is 1)having more light and ventilation in the game room, and 2)hi-speed internet (although there is an open wireless in range from the dining table)

Date Submitted: October 07, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008 | The house was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bedding was very nice. Two things in particular really appealed to us: the game room in the garage was fantastic for the kids, and the pool water was very warm. We have rented homes before that had pools and often had issues with cold water or things malfunctioning. This house was fantastic. We had 2 large families staying - a total of 13 people, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Also, it has a very convenient location if you are going to Disney or any parks in Kissimmee. The development the house is in is also very nice with lots of things to do if you don't feel like fighting the crowds. Overall, I would rate my experience at this house very high and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any of my friends and family.

"Spectacular Property and Service"
Our family stayed at the Emerald Star July 2011 and our entire brood was very happy with the stay. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure that there is something for everyone to do from the game room to the adjacent playground for young tots.
The house was just as beautiful as advertised! Upscale furnishings and kitchen tools made our stay feel like a home away from home. The owners and the management company were exceptionally accommodating and attentive to our questions and minor concerns. It gave our family peace of mind to know that any concerns could be handled with a phone call that would immediately dispatch assistance if needed (fortunately, we did not).
I would recommend this property without reservation as it is a true gem.

"Great House"
This is a great house for a large group and we were all happy and comfortable there. The decor was very stylish and there was ample space for everyone. The heated pool was lovely and warm. The games room was very nice for the adults and children after dinner. The children in our group also appreciated the house's proximity to the playground. The location is very good, with an easy drive to parks, shopping & other services. This suited our needs perfectly and was an excellent choice for us.
